To achieve the aim a dialogue must take place between the business world, the scientific community and policy makers to produce “paths of innovation” for technological, economic and social developments. For this purpose firstly, roadmaps are developed which outline options for concrete, innovative courses of action for shaping sustainable development. And secondly, the instrument of road mapping will be tested within a wide, heterogeneous, cross-sectoral area. The example of a roadmap further explained is about the focus topic Public Procurement. An analysis of trends within the area of public procurement yielded the following priority fields of action: Work and Mobility, Energy-efficient (Office) Terminals, and an area focussing on the sustainability criteria and implementation strategies.Roadmap of the Prospects of Shaping the Development of Information and Communications TechnologiesText/Conference Paper
