The application is integrated with the module managing water use in agriculture, concerning irrigation and artificial infrastructures like channels, pumps and others. Users of the application are: regional offices (mainly Water management department), Provincial governments, ARPA-Regional Agency for environmental protection, ATO as water management Disctricts and private managers of water plants (aqueducts, sewages, purifiers). SIRI aims at fulfilling a better management of water resources by mean of integrations of different components in a common database. SIRI dataset is a geodatabase in which are stored both geographical and alphanumerical data. As far as geographical and alphanumerical data are put together, users are allowed to perform data analysis merging locations and administrative information. SIRI works within the Piedmont regional web network (RUPAR).
