The development of IAMs is faced with some problems, such as the coupling of different model parts and the preparation and management of large datasets. A way to solve the problems is the consideration of relevant standards and the use of a modular and open software architecture. Based on the different requirements of an IAM such an architecture has been developed. The main components of the architecture are described and re-sults of a first implementation of the components are given.Text/Conference Paper
