Effortless coordination and effective awareness support have been goals ever since. Yet, measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of these support systems has remained a complex issue leaving researches with the dilemma that achieving either goal requires some kind of measurement. In this paper we introduce our approach that has the goal to determine whether a certain coordination or awareness support system actually improves a user group’s coordination. We demonstrate how a simple interactive task helps to achieve this goal.enAwarenessCoordinationSupport SystemsCSCWHow to Determine the Effectiveness and Efficiency of Coordination and Awareness Support Systems.Text/Conference Paper10.18420/muc2017-demo-0364
