Through an easy to handle uniform browser-tool the FIS-Broker makes data available, which were previously only available in specialised informationsystems. To access these data, the user requires no knowledge of the hard- or software. The data remain unchanged at source. Access is facilitated via the FIS-Broker's metainformationsystem. FIS-Broker will assist the user in finding, visualising and providing information. It's spatial relation service will allow for the combining of heterogeneous databases . The components of the FIS-Broker can also be used directly in any module of the entire specific information systems.Text/Conference Paper
