To answer the analytical question a problem or investigation oriented and adapted sampling strategy is thereby a fundamental condition for an optimal acquisition of needed information. Without detailed previous knowledge intensive and complex preliminary investigations are necessary. From the results of these investigations an optimised sampling strategy for the following routine investigations can be developed, in order to avoid redundancies and to win the necessary information costand working time optimised. Exemplary of a sampling strategy optimisation the time series analysis will be discussed for water chemical investigation during the flooding of the Mining lake Goitsche near Bitterfeld between 1999 and 2002.A Method to Optimise Sampling Strategies — Key Study Goitsche, Bitterfeld, GermanyText/Conference Paper
