- KonferenzbeitragManagement ökologischer Anforderungen mit Topic Maps(Informationsgewinnung und Datenaufbereitung für maritime Informationssysteme, 2011) Arndt, Hans-Knud; Jacob, StephanOrganizations are complex systems embedded in their environment. Different kinds of stakeholder submit their interests, so called stakes, to the organization. These ecological stakes have to be taken into account in everyday business. The huge amount of stakes leads to a significant complexity. Based on the Topic Maps standard, which is originated in the fields of knowledge management and semantic web, this article presents a model for mapping such networks of stakes. This network supports the management of stakes and describes a basis for a standardized IT assisted evaluation.
- KonferenzbeitragEin Umweltziel- und Kennzahlensystem für die Umweltverwaltung auf der Basis von Topic Maps(Workshop des Arbeitskreises „Umweltdatenbanken / Umweltinformationssysteme“ der Fachgruppe „Informatik im Umweltschutz“, 2008) Arndt, Hans-Knud; Jacob, Stephan; Graubitz, HennerAbstract Given strategies, e.g. for environmental policies or environmental goals are one of the most successful tools to realize sustainable environmental protection. For organizations it is possible to coordinate internal and external relationships resulting in reactions onto these influences; for public environmental departments it is a perfect verification which environmental precautions should be followed and which costs for planning, doing and checking will be accrued. But beside these facts in the real world there still exist non-clear environmental orientated strategies or miss totally. With this paper we represent an idea of how to use the fundamentals of the management instrument "Balanced Scorecards" and one of the semantic network standards ISO/IEC 13250 for Topic Maps and derive strategies and goals from only modeled general conditions.
