An important task of UX consultants and managers is to enable product developers to implement user-centered design (UCD) processes in their companies. Tragically a lot of change processes fail when progressing from functional engineering to UCD. R esistance inside the organization is often the reason. Which mechanisms of organizational development cause resistance? How can we manage the change to UCD successfully and sustainably?
