Zusammenfassung
Crises and emergencies require a rapid support from aid helpers / emergency assistants. The ENSURE project is developing concepts and applications for a stronger citizen involvement for civil protection to guarantee a sufficient amount of volunteer emergency assistants in the future. One of the main objectives of this project is the development of an innovative concept for a technical system that can generally be applied for the recruitment, administration, activation, and coordination of emergency assistants and is summarized in this paper.
