While mobile information technology is claimed to be a key driver for innovation in modern organizations it is far from obvious how this technology can be adopted to improve business processes in an organization. In this paper the authors present the gained experience from the German research project MOBIKO analyzing possible applications of mobile computing in the construction and real estate industry. It is shown that the Enhanced Economic Evaluation (EEE) offers a valuable assistance for the design and implementation of innovative mobile services.en
