dc.description.abstract | This paper analyzes the possible reasons for imprecise pointing in large-screen touch environments and derives a categorization scheme for the problems. On this basis a solution to the imprecise selecting problem is presented. For our setting in which we use a 5x2 meter large, seamlessly interactive touch screen, a combination of two separate concepts, SmartPointing and ClickAgain has proven to be most suitable and to offer the most predictable user experience. The proposed solutions also meet the special requirement of being feasible in both a mouse-controlled as well as a touch-enabled setting. | de_DE |
