Zusammenfassung

Place-based QR code surveys are a simple and intuitive way for collecting feedback and opinions from citizens about the places they live in. We present the initial design of a platform for designing and monitoring QR code surveys that will be used for civic engagement and feedback. We define civic engagement as actions people take to support their community and improve its future. We finish by discussing issues that need to be considered to ensure that brief QR code surveys can fulfil their potential for increasing engagement.
