Zusammenfassung
Teaching planning and decision making in agricultural systems at universities is often theoretically with few practical examples. Regularly there are not enough possibilities to get experience in planning a whole farm business having regard to all enterprises and all kinds of farm planning (production plan, financial plan, ...). Making plans of separate parts of the farm without regarding the whole farm system will usually not provide the optimal results. The aim of this work is to develop a business game to improve agricultural education. The students are supposed to learn making consistent plans. The user has to plan a farm for one year, including the production plan, the material use, staff and the financial plan. The business game is based on a dynamic simulation model.
