dc.description.abstractThe constantly growing number of regulations as well as additional voluntary norms and certifications in the realm of environmental sustainability cause an increasing demand for adequate software support in order to avoid compliance violations. Compliance activities such as the monitoring of business processes, data collection as well as compliance reporting can be very time consuming, resource intensive and costly. Thus, there is a need for Compliance Management software that actively verifies compliance with legal requirements and also provides a company’s decision makers with a survey of the current compliance degree as well as target deviation reports on the identified control targets.de
