| dc.description.abstract | Viele Unternehmen stehen aktuell vor großen Herausforderungen aufgrund hoher Kundenansprüche für individualisierte Produkte, aber auch aufgrund des Fachkräftemangels, des demographischen Wandels, volatiler Lieferantenmärkte, der Auswirkungen auf die Versorgungssicherheit ausgelöst durch Krisen wie die Corona-Pandemie sowie hohe Energiepreise und Rohstoffknappheit. Die Transformation zur Logistik 4.0 wird hierbei oftmals als Möglichkeit genannt, die Herausforderungen in den Griff zu bekommen und verspricht einen entscheidenden Wettbewerbsvorteil. Der Forschungsstrang ist jedoch noch relativ jung und für viele Entscheider in der Praxis ist noch unklar, was sich hinter dem Begriff Logistik 4.0 konkret verbirgt und welche Chancen daraus für Unternehmen entstehen können. Daneben gibt es viele Barrieren, die Transformationsprozesse scheitern lassen. Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über den Stand der Forschung zur Logistik 4.0 und diskutiert Implikationen für die Praxis für einen nachhaltig erfolgreichen Transformationsprozess. Many companies are currently facing major challenges due to high customer demands for individualized products, but also due to the shortage of skilled workers, demographic change, volatile supplier markets, the effects of global crises like the Corona pandemic on material supply, and high energy prices as well as raw material shortages. In this context, the transformation to Logistics 4.0 is often cited as a way to cope with the challenges and promises a decisive competitive advantage. However, this research area is still relatively new and for many decision-makers in practice it is still unclear what the term Logistics 4.0 actually means and what opportunities it can create for companies. In addition, there are many barriers that cause transformation processes to fail. This article thus provides an overview of the current state of research on Logistics 4.0 and discusses implications for practice for a sustainably successful transformation process. | de |
