dc.description.abstractVirtual reality (VR) in education is a current field of research, e.g. because it provides an immersive and safe learning environment for dangerous or expensive training. But developing VR learning applications is time-consuming and costly. The development of open educational resources (OER) can facilitate educators’ access to VR and help integrate technology into everyday education. This paper presents the current state of open educational resources in virtual reality and discusses the possibilities and challenges of combining VR and OER.en
