Zusammenfassung
A dynamic mathematical model has been investigated to study the material and energy household of the implementation of photovoltaic energy on a large scale. The model is based on the material flux analysis and can be applied to other energy technologies. This material and energy household is basic concerning resource- and environmental aspects as well as the possible time scale of implementation. As a result it would be possible to implement photovoltaic energy on a large scale in Switzerland within the next 60 years.
