Zusammenfassung
Digitization of Cultural Heritage is an exciting application area of many computing technologies. It opens possibilities to preserve cultural heritage in times of armed conflicts, natural hazards, and the climate crisis. Nevertheless, there are risks related to the digitization of cultural inheritance. Some are rooted in the fact that reduction and construction are inherent properties of computer science applications. In this paper, some of the issues as well as ethical concerns are presented. A set of activities related to software projects is proposed that help reduce risks in the digitization of cultural heritage.
