Output coefficients, i.e. the quantities of disassemblies and used parts obtained by dismantling of a scrap product, play a crucial role in the planning of dismantling processes and in forecasting future sales. These are important problems for recycling companies who live from selling the disassemblies and perhaps used parts. Accuracy of the output coefficients has to be assured somehow. In this paper, we describe a method to adjust the coefficients based on historical data recorded within a certain period. The method takes into account different product qualities, disassembly routings, and dismantling paths. The implementation of the method within a prototypical decision support system for recycling companies is outlined.
