Zusammenfassung

Video meetings have become ubiquitous in our lives. While they provide multiple advantages such as saving travel time and costs, they can also bring negative effects. For instance, the self-view, a prominent design feature in video meeting systems, seems to induce cognitive load but also helps users to get control of the image they send to others. To overcome the downsides of the self-view, we propose an adaptive design of the self-view based on gaze data.
