Zusammenfassung

For introductory programming and software development courses, an electronic examination format with programming tasks in an IDE-like environment seems like the natural choice. However, for our courses at the Universität Hamburg, with up to 450 exam participants, we have so far still conducted paper-based exams that are time-consuming to grade.
